Material testing means safety. For your products and for your company. TPW test center is the reliable partner in industrial quality assurance – for all materials and tests in destructive and non-destructive material testing.
As an accredited test laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, TPW has stood for mobile and stationary tests since it was founded in 1980, both in its own halls at the Neuss site and on construction sites and at customer sites.

The range of services includes destructive test methods in the field of mechanical-technological tests, metallographic examinations, chemical analyzes and IC tests.
In the non-destructive area, the TPW test center offers material tests in the test methods RT, DR, CT, UT, ET, MT, PT, VT.
In addition to standard-compliant tests according to DIN, EN, ISO and ASTM, material acceptance tests are also developed and carried out with all common acceptance companies as well as customer-specific test solutions.

Destructive material testing

Our most outstanding quality: we burn for details.

Even if it sounds paradoxical, we break a lot to protect product quality. With destructive materials testing, we determine the mechanical, chemical and metallographic properties of materials. We then check these material characteristics for compliance with the applicable standards and regulations and support the designer in determining the application limits of a material. Only our own commitment is not subject to any limits.

Nondestructive material test

We find even the smallest mistake. Because we keep an eye on the whole thing.

Non-destructive material testing reveals defects that are invisible to the human eye, such as defective weld seams, cracks in the material, cavities or inclusions.

Many of our test methods have so far only been used in conventional industrial areas such as foundries, plant construction and mechanical engineering. Thanks to new technologies, we are now also active in highly sensitive fields such as medical and plastics technology, research and the development of new materials and components. Our many years of experience help us to adapt and successfully use the existing testing techniques - stationary and mobile.

We use different physical methods to uncover and document errors or weak points. The result of the test is a written test report or protocol. In the case of imaging test methods such as X-rays, you will also receive the test results in the form of films. Different norms and standards apply to the performance of the tests. Our employees are trained on the basis of DIN EN 473. And everything we do is also based on common sense.
